The First Settlers in ArgentinaThe earliest settlement in Argentina was about 200 BC by a number of Native American tribes. The Tribes include: the Diaguita, Guarani, and Mapuche’s, and more Tribes. The Inca Empire and the Spanish conquistadors invaded Argentina many times but the Natives would not allow them to even travel through their land. In 1516, Juan de Solis, a Spaniard, settled in Argentina but was killed by the Natives that same year.
